Eating Isn't Optional

It isn't about eating less, it's about eating well

Food Peservation

Good Food, Good Mood.

There is a direct relationship to what you eat and how you feel. There is plenty of research to support the food and mood connection. The next time you feel sad, mad, or glad think about the quality and the variety of the food that you have been eating.  Super Mood Foods?
Nuts - Dark Green Leafies - Colorful fruits, like watermelon, mangos, kiwi, & oranges - Broth-based soups and wheat germ.

Good Food, Abundant Energy.

Keep it simple and eat frequently.   Harvard has a great eating plan that your body will appreciate.

Good Food, Good Immunity.

It is a little more complicated than vitamin C and zinc. Balance is important. Sleep is important. Water, too.  Take care of your body and it will take care of you. Harvard knows immunity.

Food As medicine

There are many disease states that can be avoided or improved by sound nutritional practice. However, there are no magic bullets. The fad food of the week, the superfood of the week or the newly discovered nutrient of the week are likely just marketing strategies. I am able to help you find balance and healing through a nutrition plan that will work with your lifestyle and help you achieve your goals. I use evidence based research along with your personal medical history to develop a sound strategy for improved health. Sometimes simple changes make all the difference.
